WASHINGTON, D.C., - Brine Lacrosse Gloves sold at last year are being recalled because of lead levels exceed the federal standard in the paint used on the silver triad logo on the back of the glove.

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada and Brine announced a voluntary recall today.

Consumers should stop using Youth and Adult Brine VIP Lacrosse Gloves sizes 10, 12 and 13 and that have "Made it Vietnam" on the tag of the glove immediately.

Brine claims on it's website about 7,000 pair of the gloves were sold for about $50 in the United States and 30 in Canada.

Consumers should contact Brine at www.brine.com/recall for a free replacement pair of gloves and a T-shirt.
