More than 75 Woodburn Elementary students participated in the 2009-2010 National PTA Reflections Program. Students created works in literature, photography and visual arts in response to this year’s theme, “Beauty is…”.

Local winners were Hannah Berz, Libby Eich, Tim Owens, Jonathan Allgeier, Sophi Schultz, Josephine Ginotti, Micah Robbins, Micah Allgeier, Cade Anderson, and Ged Shifler-Hoot. Their entries have advanced to the Indiana State PTA level for judging. State winners will be announced by March 15. State winners’ entries will then be forwarded to the National PTA in Washington, D.C.

The National PTA Reflections Program is more than 35 years old. More than 10 million students have participated in the program since it began. The Reflections program allows students to express their skills in literature, photography, visual arts, dance, music composition and video production in the public school environment.
